This is a different kind of post today. It’s a shout-out to another business that is helping me get my business up and running!!! I’m really new at the business aspects of photography, and honestly, I haven’t had a lot of need in the past for sending out proposals, creating numerous invoices or different packages, receiving payment through credit cards, crafting and sending questionnaires, and in general, keeping track of ongoing interaction with clients. Let alone making it look awesome and cohesive with my website! I’ve also been wracking my brain to figure out lead contact forms without a lot of success. So….I was very, very nervous about how I was going to do this! I may have even had a couple of breakdowns trying to figure it out on my own.

Drumroll….. Enter Dubsado! I heard about Dubsado from some other photographers in one of my Facebook groups. I scheduled some initial calls to find out more, and true to their word, Dubsado’s help team went over in detail with me any question I asked! And I had A LOT of questions! There are so many behind-the-scenes things a business has to do to provide the ultimate experience for their clients.

Right now I’m at the stage where I’m moving forward with everything, and every time I have a question, someone is very quick to get back with me. I wholeheartedly suggest giving Dubsado a try. They have a free trial (which I definitely used) for your first three clients and then it’s a monthly fee after that. If you’re ready to roll with it, enter kartchner20 for 20% off your first month or year!

ky & kannah

Ky & Hannah, our son and daughter-in-law. I remember when they were first dating, they jokingly said their “couple name” was Kyannah. Would they, will they, name a little girl this name? I guess we won’t know for awhile, since they are having a boy, and his name is … Ryker.
