I just can’t explain how much I LOVED this photo experience! These two are amazing! Nathan (my nephew) and Natalie got married right out of high school and have been going strong two and a half years! They wanted some updated photos, and I was so excited to do this for them! In a way, I feel like these photos are symbolic of their journey so far, and the journey they’ll have together throughout the rest of their lives. Throughout the entire 90 mins of our time together at the Ogden Union Station, these two were happy. They obviously love each other so much. Every time I suggested something new, they were willing to try it. Nate hauled the big, totally awesome suitcase in the photos all around the square and it was HEAVY!! Towards the end, however, I captured this quiet moment where they were worn out and just taking solace in each other’s arms. I know that THIS is real life for them … as it is for every couple – sadness and heartache at times, interspersed with moments of true joy. Nat has had a lot of health problems the past several months, and Nate has really been her best supporter and friend. I’m happy that she is starting to find some answers, but the journey has been tough and hard. Nate has always been there for her, and Nat’s been there for him. Their ability to get back on track each time they have a setback is absolutely amazing, and I am so grateful I was able to capture their feelings for each other in photos that I hope they’ll cherish for years to come.

ky & kannah

Ky & Hannah, our son and daughter-in-law. I remember when they were first dating, they jokingly said their “couple name” was Kyannah. Would they, will they, name a little girl this name? I guess we won’t know for awhile, since they are having a boy, and his name is … Ryker.
