Vintage Urban Wedding | Nic + Gentri | Ogden, Utah

The Best Wedding Ever

Ogden, Utah

It was such an HONOR to photograph Gentri and Nic's wedding. Many thanks to my brother, Scott Gutke, who was my co-shooter (because obviously, I wanted to be in some of the photos).

Gentri is our oldest daughter and she is amazing. We are so happy that she found her perfect-for-her someone in Nic! I'm so proud of everything they did on their own to make their wedding fabulous. I AM SO IMPRESSED with the decor, the food, and the fun they pulled off with such limited funds (and still had moolah left over for a week-long honeymoon adventure!) For a month beforehand, they shopped deals, gathered bits and pieces from different locations, and together we (me, Gentri, Nic, his parents, Lorin, aunts and uncles and friends) pulled it all together. It was SO satisfying to plan, to create, and to maintain simplicity but beauty.

How they handled everything is such a great indicator of the awesome team they are. Their home and marriage will be beautiful, functional, and FUN!!!

I can't say enough what a peaceful, beautiful day it was! It was relaxing and fun, and it all came together.

ky & kannah

Ky & Hannah, our son and daughter-in-law. I remember when they were first dating, they jokingly said their “couple name” was Kyannah. Would they, will they, name a little girl this name? I guess we won’t know for awhile, since they are having a boy, and his name is … Ryker.
