If you had your photo taken yesterday and don’t see it in the gallery, don’t worry! I’m in the middle of uploading and by tomorrow morning (Sept 30) they should all be there!

I love participating in events as the official event photographer. There is something so fun and personally rewarding about catching people enjoying a day or an evening with their friends and family! I especially love to work with Exit Realty when they have their annual Client Appreciation Event. This group really knows how to serve others! Geri Knighton and her assistant Jaymie put together the event at the Corn Maize last year and did a fabulous job. This year’s event at Black Island Farms was equally memorable, even with some changes that had to be made to make it Covid-friendly. My role this year changed, too: instead of taking pictures of events-within-the-event like I did last year, they hired me to take family photos only.  It’s a good thing they divvied that up, because I steadily took photos for four hours (that’s a lot of mini-sessions!) I came home covered with hay and dirt (I’m a pretty active photographer) but feeling plenty happy.

Below are some of my favorites!

If you have an upcoming event or if you are in need of family photos, feel free to text me, give me a call, or email me with what you need.

ky & kannah

Ky & Hannah, our son and daughter-in-law. I remember when they were first dating, they jokingly said their “couple name” was Kyannah. Would they, will they, name a little girl this name? I guess we won’t know for awhile, since they are having a boy, and his name is … Ryker.
